Angela M. Tackett, 49

Angela Michelle (Dobbs) Tackett born June 11, 1968, to her parents Jack and Linda Dobbs. Angie lived most of her life in Muncie, Indiana, and graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1986. She worked in the County Clerk’s office for 15 years in the capacity of Deputy Clerk and Election Officer.

Angie was united in marriage to Rodney Tackett. She was blessed with two children, Erica and Joshua which she loved dearly. Angie was a faithful member of the Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle and attended until her health diminished. Angie was very family oriented and adored her children and grandchildren.

Angie battled cancer for four years but remained strong in her faith in the Lord until the end. She departed this life on December 30, 2017, with her family by her side. This was the day her pain and suffering ceased.

Angie is survived by her children; Erica Tackett, and Joshua (wife Brittany), her parents Jack and Linda Dobbs, one sister, Jennifer Barker (husband David), one brother Jason Dobbs, four grandchildren, Alexia, Danika, Jaxen and Daniel, Erica’s father Rodney Tackett, nieces and nephews include; Tayla, Tyler, Tanner and one great-nephew Ky’ren, two uncles; Rev. Carter Dobbs and Martin Kidd all of Muncie, one Aunt, Sandra Lloyd of Halton City, Texas and some very special friends include; Laura Cooper (husband Denny) and Tonya Taylor-Bell.

Angie is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Rev. Ross and Jewell Dobbs, her maternal grandparents, Denton and Aldena Kidd, two uncles Gary and David Kidd, and one aunt, Vina Jean Gregory.

Angie leaves behind a host of family and friends that will always keep her memory alive. Her family would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers, and love given throughout this difficult time.

Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

Services will be held at Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 with Pastor Michael Perdue and Pastor Adam Perdue officiating.

Calling will be at Heritage Apostolic Tabernacle from 11:00 a.m. on Thursday until the time of service.

Private burial will take place in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
