Albany, IN. - Arthur Neal, 82, of Albany, Indiana passed away on January 26, 2017 at his home.
Arthur was born on October 18, 1934 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Vaine (Copes) Neal.
Arthur married the love of his life Audrae Mae (Mullins) in 1949 and where married for 59 years. He worked for Chevrolet as a Machine Operator and retired after 30 years of service. Arthur was a member of West Side Baptist Church and the Avondale Sympathy Club. He was an avid bluegrass fan and loved going to festivals. Arthur loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister, Florrie Hancock; brothers, William Porter, Cecil Neal; grandson, Billy Franklin Neal Jr.
Arthur is survived by his sons, Billy Neal and his wife, Kris of Albany, IN; Bobby Neal and his wife, Shelley of Yorktown, IN; grandchildren, James Neal and his wife, Kiersten; Jeremy Neal and his wife, Erin; Jason Neal, Brandi Touhey, Jeffery Neal, Ariel Neal; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Jane Schwartz, Everett Neal, Ed Neal, Ray Neal, Thomas Neal, Larry Neal, Linda Conrad; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary and from 9 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday.
Services will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the mortuary with Pastor Mark Dill officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
