Carrie Corder King, 95, passed from this life June 17, 2016 at home in Muncie, IN. She was born April 16, 1921 in the Concord Community of Wayne County, KY to Alfred and Nettie Abbott Corder. She married Dave King, January 30, 1938. He passed away on October 12, 2003.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Concord Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Donald Ray King, Grandsons Geoffrey Glenn Gross, Kyle Joseph King and great grandson, Daniel Stephen Sorgen.
Carrie loved her family dearly and was ever involved in their lives. She loved cooking and tending her garden as long as her health permitted. She kept up with the Stock Market, price of oil per barrel and stayed abreast of current events in the neighborhood as well as worldwide.
