Claude Allen (Jr.) Bright

                Muncie- Allen (Claude) Bright, Jr., 57, passed away Monday morning, October 16, 2017, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on June 29, 1960, in Muncie the son of Claude and Dona Faye (Canada) Bright, Sr.

                Mr. Bright attended Muncie City Schools and had worked as a driver for the Muncie Auto Auction, delivered the Star Press Newspaper for over 40 years and also had worked as a grounds keeper for the Delaware County Fair Grounds for approximately 8 years.  Allen was a member of the Rverview Baptist Church and had bowled on several leagues at the Liberty Bowl.  Mostly, spending time with his children and grandchildren was very precious to him.

                Survivors include his two daughters, Casie Bright (fiancé-Ricky Bright) and Felicia Bright, both of Muncie; seven grandchildren; one sister, Kista Bright, Muncie; two brothers, Randy Scott Bright (fiancé-Jenn) and Todd Bright (wife-Angie), both of Muncie; several nieces, nephews, Aunts, uncles and cousins.

                He is preceded in death by his mother, Dona Bright; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Laura Canada; his paternal grandparents, James and Lula Bright.

                Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday , October 19, 2017, at the Beechgrove Cemetery with Pastor Dewayne Loveless officiating.  Parson Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

                A family gathering will take place at the Riverview United Baptist Church immediately following the services.
