CORA  L.  WATERS

   Muncie, IN.- Cora L. (Wilson) Waters, 88, of Muncie, Indiana passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

   Cora was born in Worley, Kentucky on August 29, 1927 to the late Walter and Beatrice (Strunk) Wilson.

   Cora was a charter member of Gloryland Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #104.  Cora loved gardening, bird watching, crocheting, and most of all she loved to take care of her family.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harvey Smith; husband, Simon Waters; step-son, Wllburn Watters; brother, Alfred Wilson; sister, Lora Maxwell; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Watters.

   Cora is survived by her children, Harvey E. Smith and his wife, Trula of Daleville, IN; Mary Lou Spradlin and her husband, Carl of Muncie, IN; step son, William Watters of Anderson, IN; daughter-in-law, Alma Sue Watters of Muncie, IN; sisters, Mamie Daugherty of Beaver Dam, KY; Alice Erbaugh of Stearns, KY; Joan Smith of Springfield, TN; Connie Kidd and her husband, Ronnie of Stearns, KY; seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, several step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

   Special thank you to the American Heritage Assisted Living for their love and support for our mother and the entire family.

   Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. and from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the Order of the Eastern Star conducting a memorial service at 7 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.

   Services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10 A.M. with Pastor Larry Waters officiating. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.

   Memorial contribution may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
