Demetrius Anthoney Tolbert

Indianapolis- Demetrius Anthoney Tolbert, 16, passed away early Monday morning, September 19, 2016, at the Riley Children’s Hospital following an extended illness.  He was born, February 14, 2000 in Muncie, the son of Tammy Trimble and Steve Stinson.

                Demetrius was in his freshman year at Muncie Central High School before he needed to withdraw from health reasons.  He enjoyed playing video games, was known to be quite the artist in drawing.  In fact he had earned a scholarship from the Art Institute in New York City, New York because of it.  Demetrius enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. 

                Survivors include, his parents Tammy Trimble and Steve Stinson, Muncie; six siblings, Stephanie Trimble, Donnie Tolbert, Samara Tolbert, Brian Tolbert Jr. all of Muncie and Chelsea and Katie Stinson, both of Glasgow, Kentucky; maternal grandmother, Penny Trimble, Muncie; two uncles, Josh McCord (wife-Nicole) and Dustin Trimble, both of Muncie; four cousins, Kayla and Alexis Trimble and Annabelle and Joshua McCord II, all of Muncie; his biological father, Brian Tolbert, Sr., Anderson.

                He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dale Trimble in 1995.

                Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.  Burial will follow at the Beech Grove Cemetery.
