Gary Dwayne Foster

Gary Dwayne Foster, 57 of Clarksville, IN, passed away unexpectedly into the arms of the Lord on Friday morning March 24, 2017, at his residence.

            He was born on July 19, 1959 in Chicago, IL the son of Lee and Sue (Chambers) Foster.

            He grew up in Glenview, IL and graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 1977.

            After moving to Muncie in 1977, he attended Ivy Tech and Ball State University, also studying at PJ Beauty College and becoming a licensed hair stylist.

            Gary's employment history includes Thomas Auditing, Consumer Fire Protection, Ryan's Steakhouse, Olive Garden and the US Census Bureau.

            Gary donated much of his free time and energy to helping others with addictions. While living in Muncie, Gary was a true blessing to elderly family members. Gary was also an avid reader, enjoyed ceramics and spending time with family. He was definitely happiest when being of service to others.

            He is survived by his parents Sue and Lee Foster, Charlestown, IN, Sister Samantha Grimm (husband Chris), Charlestown,IN, two nieces, Molly and Abigail Grimm, five aunts, two uncles and a glorified host of cousins. He was loved and

will be missed by his family and friends.

            Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday evening, March 31, 2017 and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Parsons Mortuary, Muncie, Indiana.

            Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Parson Mortuary in Muncie. Burial will follow at the Elm Ridge Cemetery.
