Gaynell Slentz Obituary

     Gaynell Slentz, 69, Muncie, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Waters Edge Village, Muncie.

     She was born November 18, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana and was raised by her adoptive parents Keith and Mary Sherrow.  She was employed by Ball Stores, Pizza King and she also worked as a cookie baker.  Gaynell loved going to the movies, she also enjoyed spending time with her son Gary going to Muncie Central basketball games.  She was a huge Cubs fan and even attended several games with her son, she was also a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching pro wrestling.  Gaynell was an avid animal lover, she was especially fond of dogs.

     Survivors include her son, Gary Borror, Muncie, IN; brother, Russell Dunsmore; sister, Suzie Dunsmore, and several other members of the Dunsmore family.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Mary Sherrow.

     Services will be held at Covenant Partners Ministries, 911 West Jackson St., Muncie, Indiana at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 with Pastor Linda McBride officiating.

     Calling will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21st until the time of service.
