Geraldine M. (Erp) Hossom

Geraldine M. Hossom, 73, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. 

            She was born August 20, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of the late George E. and Camilla Mary (Riley) Erp.  Geraldine earned her Bachelors degree in education and spent a short time teaching in the classroom.  She was married in 1965 to her late husband Phillip A. Hossom who passed away in 2004.  She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Muncie.

            Survivors include two daughters, Janice Hossom, Muncie; Kathleen Hossom, Muncie; three sons, Jimmy Hossom, Muncie; Don Hossom, (wife-Christina), Muncie; and Bill Hossom, (wife-Andrea), Seattle, WA; four sisters, Mary Stewart; Rose Marie “Pinky” Grahams; Rosie Bruansdorf; and Jenny Glon; four brothers, George Erp; Joe Erp; James Erp; and Paul Erp; and one grandson, Conner Hossom.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Camilla Erp; two brothers, Charlie and David Erp; and one sister, Betty Kline.

            Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 with Father Kevin Hurley officiating.

            Calling will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service.

            Memorials may be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Diabetes Association or St. Mary Catholic Church.
