Albany- Jean Michael, 86, passed away March 31, 2017 at Albany Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on September 30, 1930 the daughter of Hazel Lucille and James Lester Hume.
Jean graduated from Muncie Central High School. After school, Jean worked for Warner Machine Products for many years before working for Muncie Surgical Associates.
Jean enjoyed league bowling, country music and most of all her beloved cat Carter. She was always an animal lover and many times, she would take in lost or stray animals.
Left to mourn the loss of Jean is her daughter Beverly Michael, Albany and close friends Pearle Gill, Muncie, and Mary Beth Merritt, Michigan.
For Friends there will be a graveside memorial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey, Indiana on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Animal Rescue Fund (ARF). 1209 W Riggin Road, Muncie, IN 47303.
