Muncie, IN. - John R. Trusedell, 64, of Muncie, Indiana went to live with the Lord on July 14, 2016 after passing away at his home.
John was born on November 17, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana to the late John M. and Hazel M. (Kaiser) Trusedell.
John attended Muncie Central High School and graduated in 1969. He retired from Borg Warner after working there 32 years 10 months. He also owned and operated Johnny's Body Shop for nearly 30 years. John was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church and local UAW # 287. John loved fishing, hunting, bicycle riding, flea marketing and collecting items of interest. His had a wonderful laugh and great sense of humor. He was a wonderful friend, who loved pitching in to help anyone with carpentry work, mowing, moving...whatever the need. He is loved and missed by all who knew him, especially his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Fred Liggett, and father-in-law Chadd L. Rector Jr.
John is survived by his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” E. Trusedell of Muncie, IN; children, Brandon Trusedell of Muncie, IN; Shauna Trusedell and her fiance, Tyler Hidy of Millgrove, IN; Ashley Trusedell of Munice, IN; Lacey Gibbs and her husband, Clint of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Katherin Weeks, Chadd Trusedell, Garrett Hidy, Gracie Hidy, Tegan Hidy, Alex Fischer; sisters, Marian Slye and her husband, David of Muncie, IN; Jacqueline M. Trusedell of Muncie, IN; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Slye, Jayla Slye, Kristin Garcia, Chanda Miles, Darin Maze, Andy Maze; mother-in-law, Evelyn Rector; sister-in-law, Lori Trent; brother-in-law, Terry Trent and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2016 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 610 N. Reserve St, Muncie IN.
Services will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 1 P.M. at the Church with Pastor Daniel Mackey officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
