MUNCIE – Lewis D. Nichols, 61, Muncie, passed away Thursday evening, September 29, 2016.
He was born August 2, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Leicht) Nichols. He was raised in Muncie and was a graduate of Muncie Southside High School. Lewis loved to go fishing, bowling, cooking, and playing music with his brothers. He also loved his dogs.
Survivors include his three daughters, Michelle Connor; Patricia Hathaway, (husband-Jerry); and Kristina Hoover, (husband-Scott); three brothers, Daniel, Kenneth, and Fred; two sisters, Terri, and Cathy; fiancé, Diana Shockley; three grandsons, Eric, Isaac, and Cameron; four granddaughters, Sara, Alexis, Danielle, and Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Phyllis Nichols; one brother, Richard Nichols; and his grandson, Bryon Storie.
A celebration of life service will be held at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.
Calling will be at Parson Mortuary from 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service.
