Lois Johnson Obituary

Lois J. Johnson, 82, of Muncie, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Waters Edge Village, Muncie.

She was born November 9, 1935 in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Stanley Sturwold and Helen (Brandes) Dunn.  Lois graduated from Brookville High School in Brookville, Indiana.  Prior to her retirement she was employed as a bartender at Cactus Charlies for 17 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Beaty; and Debbie Hurst, (husband-Bob); three sons, Randy Johnson, (wife-Angie); Roy Johnson, (companion-Kim); and Troy Johnson, (wife-Dalis); two sisters, Mary Ann Johnson, (husband-Naaman); and Sandy Dunn, (companion-Angie); fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel M. Johnson; and her long-time companion, George “Sonny” Padget.

Services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 with Pastor Mark Heskett officiating.

Calling will be at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Friday.

Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie.
