MARIE  P.  HARPER

   Muncie, IN - Marie P. (Wheeler) Harper, 95 of Muncie, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Muncie, IN.

   Marie was born in Melbourne, AK. On March 20, 1920 to the late Thomas Raymond and Lucy Bell (Carder) Wheeler.

   She was baptized at Lindberg Road Church of Christ in Anderson, IN. She loved to cook, garden, and spend time listening to her favorite music. Marie loved to spend as much of her time with her children and grandchildren. Everyone in her life came first before herself.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene Harper; son, Coy Lee Harper; three sisters, eight brothers.

   Marie is survived by her children, DeWayne Harper and his wife, Cheryl of Muncie, IN; Virginia Langham and her husband, Mike of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, DeWayne David Harper of Muncie, IN; Darin Gene Harper of Muncie, IN; Dustin Lee Harper and his wife, Karen of Terre Haute, IN; Jan Marie Mace of Muncie, IN; Jane Ann Watterson of Muncie, IN; Jenifer Lee Barnes and her husband, Dean of Elkhart, IN; great-grandchildren, Cory, Justin, Kylee, Kynlee, Tyler, Dalton, Brooks, Jessica, Drake; great-great-grandchild, Julian. Several nieces and nephews.

   Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.

   Services will be Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1 P.M. with visitation from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the mortuary with Pastor Ryan Smith officiating. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, IN.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
