Muncie, IN. - Michael D. Hughes, 62, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on June 17, 2016 at Morrison Woods Nursing Home.
Michael was born in Muncie, Indiana on November 18, 1953 to Ina M. (Burris) and Joseph W. Hughes.
He attended Garfield Elementary, Wilson Middle School, and graduated from Southside High School. He worked in construction for 20 years. Michael was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #231 in Muncie, IN, and Sons of American Legion Post 19.
He is preceded in death by his father,and wife, Donna Hughes.
Michael is survived by his mother,Ina M. Hughes; brother, Robert D. Hughes.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.
Services will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 1 P.M. at the mortuary with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
