Muncie; Michael Ayers passed away Thursday evening December 14, 2017, at his residence. Michael was born February 12, 1965, in Sarasota Florida to James and Sharon (Click) Ayers, moving to Delaware County at an early age. He attended Shenandoah schools as a young man. Michael was a self-employed union heavy equipment operator for over 25 years.
He married Francine (MccLelland) Ayers in 1998 celebrating 20 years of marriage. Michael was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed shopping at flea markets, antique shops, and fishing.
Michael is survived by his wife, Francine, three children, Jenny Ayers, Eric Ayers and Justin Ayers, 4 Grandchildren Madison, Jordan, Emma, and Cameron.
His parents Sharon and James preceded him death.
At the family’s request, there are no services and cremation will take place.
