Mildred E Wilson

Indianapolis- Mildred Ellen Hubble Wilson, 90, formerly of Muncie passed away peacefully at her home in Indianapolis on Wednesday April 12, 2017. Mildred was born on April 2, 1927 in Eubank, KY to the late Coy and Isabell Hubble. She married Ira Wilson on April 5, 1947 who precedes her in death.

                Mildred will be greatly missed by her family and many lifelong friends as well as her neighbors from Normandy Addition where she resided for over 60 years and was quite often found outside in her bare feet tending to her roses and visiting with neighbors in her back yard. Mildred retired from the Ball State University dietary department. A special heartfelt thank you from the family is expressed to Mildred’s caregivers Janis, Janiah, Doyce, Susie, Sawyer and Chelsi for their kind, tender and compassionate care.              

Left to mourn the loss of Mildred are her two children Sandy Wayne Wilson and Jennifer (Mike) Oakley, three grandchildren Erin (Adam) McMillan, Trent Wilson Oakley, Grant Michael Oakley and great grandchild Aria McMillan all of Indianapolis, her brothers John Ivan Hubble, William (Bernice) Hubble and Marion (Anita) Hubble and sister in law Alma Hubble, all residing in the commonwealth of Kentucky.

Mildred was preceded in death by two sisters Wanda Hubble Norton and Vauda Mae Hubble McWilliams, two brothers Hershell Hubble and Clarence Hubble and sister in law Sandy Hubble.

Funeral Services will be Monday April 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M at Parson Mortuary followed by a committal service at Gardens of Memory with Pastor Robert Burton of Riverside Baptist Church officiating, where Mildred was a member. Entombment to follow. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M until service time on Monday.
