Muncie- Patricia Goen, 81, passed away Thursday May 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born November 6, 1935 the daughter of Carl and Esther (Kootns) Kiplinger.
Pat is a graduate of Muncie Central High School class, after school, Pat worked at the Flamingo as a hostess and waitress. She was a saleswomen for 50 years for Avon makeup products. She married the love of her life Jack Goen on April 18, 1958; they would raise five children together. Camp Modoc was like Pats second home. She loved camping and spending time with her family in the outdoors. She was also a member of a card playing club and enjoyed trivia. The family would like to extend a special thanks to I.U health hospice for their wonderful caring staff.
Left to mourn the loss of Pat are her husband Jack Goen daughters Kelli Goen, Carol (Shunny ) Lageza, Karen (Scott) Armacost, sons Jack Goen II and Steve (Joella) Goen. Nine grandchildren and nine great grand children
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson Tyler.
Funeral services will be Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 1:00 P.M at Parson Mortuary . Friends may call on Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M and from 12 P.M until service time Wednesday.
