MUNCIE – Randal T Sears, 35, went home to be with his Lord and Savior  unexpectedly at his mother’s home in Muncie on Sunday morning, November 25, 2012. He was born
November 26, 1976 in Nurenburg, Germany to Claude Sears, Jr. and Linda (Lephart) Rockwell. He graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1996. He worked 10 years at Save-a-Lot . Randal was currently working at Butler Nissan, Carmel. He was a huge University of Michigan Football fan. Randal treasured playing football for 4 years as a Southside Rebel. He loved all sports and was an avid athlete before his motorcycle wreck in 2008. He played softball, golf and basketball too. But his joy in life was to watch RJ play football and basketball and Mahaylah  play volleyball and basketball. Randal always said sports taught many life lessons. He was their coach, critic and their biggest fan. Randal loved them so!
Randal is survived by his loving son and daughter Randal Sears, Jr, and Mahaylah
Sears; both of Muncie, his dear mother Linda Rockwell; Muncie, step-dad James Rockwell; Muncie, sister Kim Aker (husband-David); South Bend, brother William Sears; South Bend, his girlfriend and best friend Kristen Miller and daughter Carly. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews Joshua Sears (wife-Casey); North Carolina, Amanda Sears; Missouri, Courtney Sears; Blakely and Hunter Aker of South Bend and several aunts and uncles. Many other family and friends will miss his smile.
Randal was preceded in death by his grandparents Vernon and Louise Blakely and father Claude Sears, Jr.
