Richard S. “Rick” Brown, 37, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at his residence following a sudden illness. He was born on December 8, 1974, in Muncie, the son of, Richard and Brinda (Stevens) Brown III.
Richard had obtained his GED through Ivy Technical College. While there he took classes in Auto body and art and eventually he earned a degree in art. Mr. Brown had studied Karate under Master Kim and Sunny Johnson. Rick enjoyed art of all kinds, writing poetry, music, going to movies and playing with his dogs. His pride and joy were the times he could be with his nieces and nephew. Rick was a very loving and kind individual who loved his family very deeply with all of his heart.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Brinda Brown, Muncie; one brother, Daniel Brown (companion-Tasha Neely), Muncie; two nieces, Brittany and Rebekah Brown, both of Muncie; one nephew, Daniel Brown II, Muncie; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Special friend, Glenna Trigg, Muncie.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Eveline (Stout) Stevens and paternal grandparents, Richard and Pearl (Harty) Brown.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, 1:00 P.M., at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor William E. Harty officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
