Rita (Douthitt) Beal

Muncie: Rita Beal 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital. Rita was born on November 7, 1927, to the late Laura (Jones) and Arch Douthitt in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Mrs. Beal attended school in the Muncie school district and married Roy E. Beal in 1945. She was a member of Full Gospel Temple for more than 40 years. Rita was a woman who loved her children.

Rita is survived by: Two Sons; Roy Beal Jr. (wife Sherry), Goodyear, Arizona and Donald Beal, Oceanside, California; Three Daughters; Sue Ritter (husband Doug), Paola, Kansas; Kay Tuck (husband Bob), Selma, and Jane Beal, Muncie. Mrs. Beal was blessed with 14 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Husband of 53 Years, Roy; Two Daughters; Beverly Gregory and Joann Myers; Parents; Two Grandchildren; Three Brothers and Two Sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 West Adams Street, Muncie, on Monday, February 5 at 10 AM with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery Eaton.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Sunday February the 4th , from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again on Monday, February the 5th, from 9:00 AM until service time.
