Roger Lee Partin

MUNCIE- Roger Lee Partin, 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1957 in Muncie to Otis Partin and Nora (Williams) King. He graduated from Blue River Valley High School and served for 10 years in the Indiana National Guard. Roger was a member of the Painter’s Local Union # 669 and Bethel United Baptist Church of Muncie. He was a gift giver to his nursing homes. It was his mission of love to read his bible to them and would sit and visit. They always looked forward to seeing him.

         Survivors include a daughter Amber Dawn Robinson (husband-Kenny); Connersville, two sons Joshua M. Partin and Ryan L. Partin; both of Muncie, his parents Nora and Paul King; Springport, three brothers John M. Partin; Muncie, Guy A. Partin; New Castle, Warren J. King; Springport, four sisters Constance Losh (husband-Greg); Selma, Paula D. Houser (husband-Chris); Muncie, Jamie E. King; Selma, Tammy S. Phillips (Tommy); Dunkirk, three grandchildren Ciara D. Earlywine; Logan I. Earlywine; Dakota M. Earl; ten nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles.

        Roger was preceded in death by his father, two brothers Darrel and Tony Partin; his paternal and maternal grandparents.

        Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Bethel United Baptist Church, 301 North Eastwood, Muncie, Indiana 47303 with Pastor Hoyt Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery, Muncie. 

        Family and friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00PM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at Parson Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
