Russell Fredrick Obituary

Muncie-Russell D. Fredrick, 68, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his residence following a brief illness.  He was born on, September 2, 1949, in Bairbo, Wisconsin, the son of Maurice Eden and Alice (Chemburger) Fredrick                      .

Russell attended Bairbo city schools and later married Victoria (Williams) Fredrick in 1985 and she survives.   Mr. Fredrick had worked for the Jefferson-Smurfett Company as a printing press operator for approximately 33 years prior to their closing.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed going to stock car races.  Mr. Fredrick was a member of the United Printing Press Workers Union.

Besides his wife of 33 years, Victoria “Vicki”, he is survived by two sons, Mike Fredrick (wife-Pebbles), Muncie and Bradley Fredrick (wife-April), Cowan; several grandchildren; one great granddaughter, Haven; two brothers, Gary Joe Fredrick (wife-Mary Jo), Bairbo, Wisconsin and Dick Fredrick, Green Bay, Wisconsin; two  sisters, Penny Fredrick-Swartz (husband-Bill ), Pensacola, Florida and Elaine Lykins, Newport, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a son Russell (Rusty) Fredrick, Jr. and his parents.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.  at the Parson Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
