Muncie, IN. - Theodore “Ted” W. Combs, 75, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on October 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Ted was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 25, 1941 to the late James and Eunice (Pike) Combs.
He graduated from Muncie Central High School and worked as a truck driver for Mittler’s Welding for over 30 years. Ted was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was proud of every one of them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Lillie Mae Combs; siblings, Bill Combs, Mary Smith, Melvin Combs, Barbara Evans, Eddie Combs, Fred Combs.
Ted is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Combs of Muncie, IN; children, “Larry” Steven Conway and his wife, Cindy of Muncie, IN; Kevin Conway and his wife, Judy of Muncie, IN; Teddene Phillips and her husband, Jimmy of Mooreland, IN; Jimmy Combs and his wife, Leia of Muncie, IN; Hobie Combs and his wife, Vickie of Greenfield, IN; Rusty Combs and his wife, Erica of Losantville, IN; siblings, Betty Cook of Muncie, IN; Bud Combs of Muncie, IN; twenty four grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary and from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Friday.
Services will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 1 P.M. at the mortuary with Pastor Tobby Smith officiating. Burial will be at Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
