Virgil Eugene "Jr" Morgan, Jr.

                San Antonio,Texas- Virgil Eugene “Jr.” Morgan, Jr., 72, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the University Hospital following injuries sustained from a traffic accident that occurred on April 17, 2017.  He was born on April 1, 1945 in Muncie, the son of Virgil and Sylvia Marie (Bartlett) Morgan, Sr.

                Mr. Morgan had worked for the Crabtree Amusements out of Austin, Texas for 56 years, most recently as the Booking agent. He had owned and operated his own gaming machines for 26 years.  Besides gambling, Virgil enjoyed spending time with his three pet Chihuahua known as Baby, Grumpy and Meanie.

                Survivors include four sisters, Annette Spoonemore, Muncie, Eleanor Smith (husband-Earnest), Defiance, Ohio, Brenda Said (husband-Larry, Sr.), Muncie and Mary Morgan, Portland; one brother, Leon Morgan, Muncie; several nieces and nephews; two best friends, Pat Crabtree, Martindale, Texas and Dean Riley, Ohio

                He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Trudy Morgan and Lavada Wooten; two brothers, Dennis and Melvin Morgan; one sister-in-law, Melinda Morgan.

                Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Denny Helton officiating.  Cremation is taking place.

                Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.

                Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs through a go fund me account in the name of Brenda Said.
