Muncie, IN. - Wanda June Astrop, 88, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Wanda was born in Summitville, Indiana on December 20, 1927 to the late Joseph and Della (Morgan) Musick.
She was a member of the American Legion Post # 321 in Yorktown, Indiana. Wanda loved spending time with her family, reading, and watching westerns.
Wanda is survived by her children, Kay Morton of Muncie, IN; Devon Gernoble of Fishers, IN; Pamela Walker and her husband, Scott of Yorktown, IN; twenty nine grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Neoma Withrow of Indianapolis, IN; Edna Bell Silvers of North Carolina. Several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clyde Astrop Sr; sons, Danial Ray Astrop, Clyde Astrop Jr; grandson, Jerry Barber Jr; brothers, Herman, Omer, Clarence, Earl, Sherman, and Raymond.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.
Services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1 P.M. at the mortuary with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
