Carol Andora (Potter) Fields

                Muncie-Carol Andora Fields, 68, passed away Monday evening, May 8, 2017, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital Emergency Room following a brief illness.  She was born on October 7, 1948, in Jamestown, Tennessee, the daughter of John Potter and Oradean Potter Whittenburg and step father, Malcolm Whittenburg.

                Carol is a 1966 graduate of Muncie Southside High School and later married the love of her life, Marvin Fields on January 27, 1967 in Muncie and he survives.  Mrs. Fields became a homemaker.  She had attended the Old Town Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed family times with her grandchildren. 

                Besides her husband of fifty years, Marvin, she is survived by one son, Troy Fields, Muncie one daughter, Andora Lipscomb (husband-Gary), Muncie; two grandchildren, Kylee Lipscomb (fiancé-C.J. Johnson), Fishers and Tysen Lipscomb, Muncie; two sisters and two brothers; several special cousins.

                She is preceded in death by her parents, step father and parents-in-law, Ralph and Lurenda Fields.

                A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.  Cremation is taking place.
