Clifford Jessie Conner

                Muncie-Clifford Jessie Conner, 89, passed away Saturday morning, February 25, 2017, at the Bethel Pointe Health Care Center following an extended illness.  He was born on September 10, 1927, in Osage , Arkansas, the son of James O. and Lilly Belle (Fultz) Conner. 

                Clifford married the love of his life, Evelyn Fern (Leffew) Conner on July 22, 1983 in Muncie and she preceded him in death on April 9, 2016.   Mr. Conner had worked on a farm for over 20 years prior to his retirement.  He was a member of the Westside Evangelistic Church which was pastored by Rev. Charles Conley.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

                Survivors include one son,  Tracy Conner, Greenfield, California; daughters, Marie Fisher and Marilyn Chambers (husband-John), both of Muncie; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren.

                Besides his wife of 33 years, Evelyn, he is preceded in death by two sons, Larry Dale and Terry Conner; one daughter, Patricia Conner; his parents.

                Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Jaco officiating.  Burial will follow at the Beech Grove Cemetery.

                Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary from 12:00 P.M. until service time also on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
