Sharon Gulley

Anderson- Sharon J. Gulley, 68, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 15, 2017, at the Community Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born on September 11, 1948, Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of Clyde and Margaret (Irwin) Nelson.

                Sharon married the love of her life Larry Gulley on June 2, 1977 in Muncie and he survives.  Mrs. Gulley had worked for the Woodlands Health Care Center as a Cook for 15 years prior to working for the Community Hospital as a Cook in their Cafeteria for 20 years, she retired in 2014.  She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and feeding the birds.  Sharon loved all animals and it was said that “she never met a stranger.”

                Besides her husband of 40 years, Larry, she is survived by two daughters, Alecia Gulley (fiancé-Ethan Grefe), Spring Hill, Florida and Ralonda Bryant(husband-Jonathon), Dallas , Texas; one son, Michael Durbin, Muncie; Several grandchildren; one brother, Gene Nelson(wife-Cindy), Muncie.

                Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

                Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
