MUNCIE - Alvin “Frank” Stinson, 63, passed away at I.U Ball Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. Frank was born to James and Virginia Stinson on November 10, 1954 in Winchester Indiana. He joined the United States Army in 1979. After the armed forces he went to Ball States University and earned a bachelors in Psychology. Later he would also attended Ivy Tech in Muncie because of his drive to succeed. Frank enjoyed target practice, fishing, and hunting. He never met a stranger and was very kind and generous to anyone in need. One Easter he bought the store out of stuffed bunnies so that the children whos’ parents were arrested during that holiday could still have some joy. Frankie is survived by his mother Virgina (Staggs) Stinson, his fiancée’ Jewel Jennings, two daughters; Heather Wells and Holly Terry, two brothers; Jackie Stinson (Cindy) and Ellis Stinson a sister Tina Strong (Kevin) and 7 grandchildren. Frank is preceded in death by his father James F. Stinson, a stepfather; Joe Riley, a brother Michael Riley, a sister Angela Sue Stinson and a stepbrother Charles C. Riley. A funeral service for Frank will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday May 7, 2018 at Parson Mortuary 801 W. Adams Street Muncie Indiana. Friends may call from 12:00 PM to the time of service on Monday.
