Andrew "Andy" D. Williams

Muncie-Andrew “Andy” D. Williams, 53, passed away early, Friday morning, February 2, 2018, at his residence unexpectantly.  He was born on February 20, 1964, in Muncie, the son of, Randall Williams and Sandra (Syphers) Bailey.

Andy had attended Muncie City Schools and later obtained a position in the Furnace Department as a laborer for Exide Technologies in Muncie having served them for 9 years.  Mr. Williams enjoyed riding motorcycles, following NASCAR specially his favorite driver Jimmy Johnson and playing with his pet Boston terrier “Little Man”.  Mostly, he enjoyed being a grandpa and spending time with his family and friends.  He was known to have ridden his motorcycle in charity events for various organizations as well.

Survivors include his fiancé of 14 years, Mary Jeffris, Muncie;  two daughters, Lacie Williams and Lindsey Williams, both of Muncie; one son Derek Williams (fiancé-Ashley Anacker), Muncie; three grandchildren, London McCullum, Mason Banks and Monroe Williams; his parents, Randall Williams (wife-Becky), Muncie and Sandra Bailey, Muncie one brother, Brad Williams, Muncie; many friends.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Ashley Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Michael Osborne officiating.  Burial will follow at the Hawk Cemetery in Yorktown. 

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday February 8, 2018, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
