Betty (Keith) Bradshaw

MUNCIE - Betty J. Bradshaw, 74, passed away Sunday evening, December 10, 2017, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on, July 7, 1943, in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Ale Lloyd and Gladys (Mullins) Keith.

Betty had married Jimmie Adams Sr. and he preceded her in death and then she remarried Ray Bradshaw and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Bradshaw had worked for Veil Foods, was a co-owner of a laundry mat, Kiser Manufacturing but, mostly she had been a homemaker. Mrs. Bradshaw had been a member of the Jackson Park Baptist Church over 30 years and later attended the Good News Baptist Church. She had been very involved in all the activities of the church rather it involved fund raising, helping at Bible School, pitch in dinners etc. Betty enjoyed refinishing antique furniture and playing Bingo.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Adams (husband-James Cochran) and Sharon Haffner, both of Muncie; five grandchildren, Holly Orr (husband-Jason), Devyn Haffner, Danny Haffner, Jr. (wife- Ashley), Melisha Jewell, all of Muncie and Miranda Smith, Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister, Wanda Williams Massey, Muncie; one brother, Ale Keith, Jr. Muncie; a special niece, Paula Justice (husband-Randy), Muncie; Several other close nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Besides her two husbands, Jimmy and Ray, she is preceded in death by one son, Jimmie “Bub” Adams; her parents; one brother, Rufus Keith; three sisters, Yvonne Sexton, Teddy and Opal; and One Son-In-Law; Danny Haffner (wife, Sharon).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dale Stiles officiating, Burial will follow at the Beech Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
