Beverly Louise (Robinson) Stassen went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2019 at the Woodlands Health Care Center.

She was the daughter of Mildred (Thomas) and W.R. In 1948, she was married to her beloved husband of fifty-seven years, Robert Lee Stassen, at which time they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where Mr. Stassen attended law school at the University of Minnesota.  While there, Mrs. Stassen was the Speech and Hearing supervisor for the St. Paul Rehabilitation Center and later became the Speech and Hearing Audiologist for the South St. Paul School System.  Returning to Muncie in 1950, Mrs. Stassen became a homemaker and she and her husband were blessed with three children.  Active in church circles, Mr. and Mrs. Stassen sang in choirs for many years, taught Sunday School and directed children’s singing groups.  She and her husband hosted many Bible studies in their home.

She was a member of Gamma Gamma and Pi Beta Phi Sororities at Ball State and Sigma Alpha iota (SAI)music fraternity.  Among the various boards she served were Muncie Women’s Symphony League, Delaware County Crippled Children’s Society and later Camp Isanogel and Ball Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.  The Stassens were also active in the 250, Holiday and Century Dance Clubs.

Mrs. Stassen loved animals and helped find homes for rescue animals.  She was an avid reader and student of the Bible and American current events.  She loved classical worship music and sang throughout her life.  She was dedicated to her husband and beloved family and to her Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Stassen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert in 2005, their dear son, Jeffrey, in 2007, by her parents and her brother, Bruce Robinson.  She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Highfield(husband-Michael) Ann Arbor, Michigan, son, Eric Stassen, Muncie and her daughter-in-law, Jeannine Stassen, Muncie, as well as by her dear 10 grandchildren and 15 precious great-grandchildren: Christina Weir (husband Tony, sons Oliver and Declan) Fishers, IN; Lauren Brady (husband Sean, children Kathryn, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Abigail and Charlotte), Norfolk, VA; Ashley Allen (husband Adam Martin) Denver, CO; Erin Jennings (husband Jacob, sons Jack and Liam) Noblesville, IN; Caitlin Geshay (husband David and children Parker and Harper) Fishers, IN; Jonathan Allen (wife Nicole and daughter Claire) McCordsville, IN; Jeffrey Stassen (wife Blakely)Lexington, KY; Cameron Crumes (husband Bryant and son Kaden) Yorktown, IN; Ariane Stassen (Thomas Tyree and daughters Amiya and McKynley) Ft.
