Muncie- Bobby Overbay, 59, passed away at Ball Memorial Hospital on Saturday January 21, 2017.
Bobby was born on October 13, 1957 in Muncie Indiana to Otis and Frances Overbay.
Bobby was a man of the outdoors. He loved nature, camping, animals and fishing. Though he never hunted as he had immense love and respect for all animals. He loved being outdoors so much he even decided to camp out in a tent for a whole year at Summit Lake. His love of everything outdoors lead Bobby to be an entrepreneur were he sold campfire wood and other outdoor necessities. He also did carpentry, where he loved working with wood.
Bobby leaves behind 5 children; Samantha Laster (Ray), Stephany Overbay, Melissa Overbay, Jessica Overbay, Bobby Overbay II (Brittany), and 9 wonderful grandchildren who he loved more then anything.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Michael Overbay, and a sister Judy Overbay.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 12:00 P.M at Parson Mortuary and services will be at 1:00 P.M following calling hours with Lee Crossland officiating.
Interment will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery with Army Military Honors.
