Caleb Miller

Caleb Daniel Miller, 25, passed away Sept. 18th in Lubbock Texas from a hit in run accident while he was doing his daily routine of jogging. He resided in Lubbock Texas at the time of his death. Caleb was born in Muncie, IN on September 22, 1992 to Christa West (Chris) and William Miller (Tina). 
He attended Muncie Schools and was a graduate of Muncie Southside in 2011, where he was a member of the ROTC. He attended Indiana Tech College in Fort Wayne before joining the United States Army and he was proud to defend his country. He was stationed at Fort Hood in Texas. Caleb spent one year in Afghanistan where he suffered injuries and was issued and honorable medical discharge but he was proud to serve and of his achievements. He then attended Career College of Nevada studying HVAC/R earning a degree and he began a new world of IT. Caleb loved football and was an avid Colts fan.
Caleb is survived by his parents Christa and Chris West of Florida, William and Tina Miller of Muncie, one sister Cierra West of Florida, one brother Tyler Miller of Muncie, a step brother Thomas C. Peek, two uncles Jerry L. Butterfield II of Muncie, Jerome Miller of Muncie, grandparents: William and Jessica Miller and his great grandfather Donald H. Walker of Muncie, step grandparents Bill and Stephanie Rose, several great aunts and great uncles, cousins and close friends that loved him dearly.
Caleb is preceded in death and reunited in heaven by his grandparents Jerry L Butterfield and Cindy M Holten, great grandmother Cora M. Walker, Dorthy and JC Logan and Vernon Copely.
A funeral service will be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday October 05, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Sam Brannon officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service with burial following at the Gardens of Memory in the Military Garden.
