Darrell V Miller

Darrell Vaughn Miller, 84, of Muncie went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 13, 2017 at I.U Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born January 28, 1933 in Muncie, IN. He was the son of Harry and Alta Blanche Miller.

Darrell graduated from Muncie Central class of 1951. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Darrell retired from Borg Warner after 41 years.

Darrell is survived by his sister Eileen Crist of Muncie, IN, sister in law Joan Miller, his nephews David (Deb) Miller, Mark (Dawn) Miller of Yorktown, IN and Philllip (Susan) Miller Muncie, niece Sherri Beaty and family of Losantville, IN

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Arlo Wayne Miller.

The family would like to give thanks to Phillip Miller for his loving care. Darrell belonged to Church of Christ in Christian Union. Darrell loved his church friends as his own family. The family wishes to thank Darrell’s friends from the Antique Mall, Retro Diner and the Ball Hospital Cancer Center for their wonderful care, love and friendship over the years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 1:30 P.M at Parson Mortuary with Pastor J.R Sutliff officiating. Friends may call from 12:30 P.M until service time Tuesday. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.
