Dexter Toomey Obituary

Dexter Toomey, 56, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born September 17, 1962 in Muncie, Indiana to Herbert and Edna (Byrd) Toomey. Dexter graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1981. He had a knack for fixing things and was a Dexter-of-all-trades. He enjoyed fishing, working on model trains and playing games in his spare time.

Dexter is survived by his brother, Darrell Toomey; Friend, Joy Sawgle; Cousin, Cathy Smith; Aunt, Mary Bertram; Two nephews, a niece, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Edna.
