Edsel E. Blevins, Jr.

Edsel E.  “Eddy” Blevins, Jr. 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior and join his parents and grandparents in the Heavenly regions, Thursday morning, December 12, 2019 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  He was born on March 12, 1962 in Muncie the son of Edsel and Rosemary (Oliver) Blevins, Sr.    

Eddy obtained his GED from Muncie Community Schools and later worked for Ball Memorial Hospital in the house keeping department for approximately 15 years prior to his disability.  He was an avid artist specializing in free hand drawing.  His pictures were treasured by many who enjoyed the shear beauty of them.  Mr. Blevins enjoyed listening to music especially the Eagles.

Survivors include one son, Nick Blevins (Kadijah), Muncie; one sister, Lisa Bailey, Muncie; there are several siblings in Kentucky; one uncle Tom Oliver (Debbie), Muncie and a whole host of close friends and associates.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Michael Bailey.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019, 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Michael Hess officiating.  Cremated remains will be inurned at a later date at the Beech Grove Cemetery.
