Mrs. Frances Louise Lindsay (Louise to those who knew her) 88, of Clearwater, Florida graduated to be with her Lord and Savior on May 29, 20l8 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was born to George and Rose Lee (Tucker) Lovett, of Manchester, Tennessee on July 22, 1929.
The family moved from Manchester, Tennessee to Muncie, Indiana in the early forties.
She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1947 and was married to William Francis Lindsay of Farmland, Indiana for 64 years.
Later in her life, she attended Muncie School of Practical Nursing, Ball Memorial Hospital, graduating October of 1961 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She went on to become a Registered Nurse attending Anderson College graduating on June 14, 1976. She was qualified as a Resident Advocate with the State of Indiana for long term ombudsman care. She worked many of her nursing years as a surgical nurse at Ball Memorial Hospital and retired from a management nursing position at New Castle State Hospital in 1982.
Louise and her husband, Bill, were active members of Glad Tidings Church in Muncie, Indiana and also at Clearwater First Assembly of God in Clearwater, Florida, when they resided in Clearwater, Florida for many years.
She was preceded in death by her, mother Rose Tucker Lovett Mintor, husband, William Francis Lindsay, and brothers Wiley Lovett, of Muncie, Indiana, George Lovett of Nashville, Indiana and a sister, Ruth Beymer of Seminole, Florida.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Lindsay) Lee, (husband Gerry J. Lee), of Clearwater, Florida. Two grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Christopher Brandton Drue Lee and wife Amanda Lee of Safety Harbor, Florida and Lindsay LaBree Lee Hans and her husband Joseph Hans of Tampa, Florida. One great grandson Christopher Milan Mordecai Lee of Clearwater Florida. One brother Clarence Herman Lovett (wife Ann), of Madison Heights Michigan. Two sister in-laws Chrystal Wormer and Judy Wormer Wyatt, both of Muncie, Indiana
Louise's Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Glad Tidings Church, 3001 S. Burlington Drive, Muncie, Indiana on Thursday, May 31, 2018, with calling hours at the church from 11:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M.with the funeral service to immediately follow.
