Helen L. (Lykins) Myers

                Muncie-Helen L. Myers, 94, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born on September 13, 1923, in Muncie, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Burnworth) Lykins.

                Helen attended Muncie City Schools and had married, John Myers and later Kenneth Myers who both had preceded her in death.  Mrs. Myers had been a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, canning, cooking big family meals, baking cakes, doing crafts, camping, collecting angels and dolls.  Mostly, spending time with her family was very precious to her.

                Survivors include one daughter, Dianna K. Gill (husband-James C.). Albany; two grandsons, Kim C. Gill, Parker City and Allen L. Gill, Kokomo; two great grandchildren Victoria M. Gill and Jameson P. Gill , both of Parker City; several nieces and nephews.

                Besides her two husbands John and Kenneth, she is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Lola Allwine, Mary Morris and a baby sister.

                Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, 1:00 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Rick Monroe officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

                Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Monday, October 2, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
