JAMES CLEMENT Obituary

James Ray Clement II, 73, passed away unexpectedly at Liberty Village Nursing Home on Thursday morning, August 2, 2018. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, November 10, 1944, son of James and Ruth Clement.

James was an avid bowler and very active in the bowling community. In 2011, James was inducted into the Muncie USBC Bowling Hall of Fame. James loved to visit Arizona and enjoyed warm weather and being in the sun. He enjoyed reading books and playing handheld games. James attended 11th St. Christian Church in Muncie, IN.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Clement, a sister, Kendra Gard, a son, James “Butch” Clement.

James is survived by two sisters; Kyla Thanholt of Wisconsin and DeeDee VanHouse of California, a brother William “Bill” Clement of Indiana. James is also survived by his children; Ruthy Clement, Muncie, IN., Tracy Clement (Melissa), Spencerville, IN., Loretta Cross (Joel) Wittmann, AZ., Scott Clement, Muncie, IN., Dennis Clement, Kingman, AZ., Mardi Clement (Mike), Warren, MI., Hallie Wood (Mike), Shelby Township, MI., 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 06, 2018 at 10:30 am at Muncie First Freewill Baptist Church, 6490 Cornbread Rd., Yorktown, IN 47396 with Pastor Dan Kimbrell officiating. The family has requested donations to help defer costs of services.
