Joanne Fosler

Joanne Fosler, 86, Muncie, passed away Tuesday morning, February 27, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  She was born April 2, 1931 in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of George and Josephine (Cole) Hillard.

     Joanne was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.  She loved to play BINGO at the American Legion Post 19 and Forest Park Senior Center.

     She is survived by her son, Steven Fosler (wife-Beth); three daughters, Lori Clark (husband-Don), Rosemary Orr (husband-Robin Orr, deceased) and Ginny Netherton (husband-Dave); one sister, Sue Breece; two brothers, Dale Hillard and David Hewlett; six grandchildren, Mandi, Tony, Seth, Ryan, Zachary, and Jessica; and fourteen great-grandchildren; and her very special friend, Doris Sutton.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Josephine Hillard; husband, Donald Fosler; and her sister, Carolyn Chandler.

     A memorial service will be held at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 with Pastor Larry Werbil officiating.

     Memorial contributions may be made to Delaware County Senior Citizen Center, 2517 W. 8th Street, Muncie, Indiana 47302.

     Calling will be at the mortuary from 12:00 p.m. on Sunday until the time of service.
