This beautiful soul, Joyce Louise (Parton) (Reason) Wright, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning.
She was born on February 2, 1935 to Virginia and Vernon Parton in Winchester, Tennessee. She worked as the President of Food Services for Muncie Community Schools for twenty years, and then went on to retire from MITS after 18 additional years.
She leaves her son, Tom Reason Jr. (Terri), her daughter, LouAnn Falls, two brothers, Harold Parton and Frank Parton, two step-sons, Wayne Wright (Terri) and Donny Wright, 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle in Dunkirk, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her first husband, Tom Reason Sr., her second husband, Carl Wright, three brothers, and one step-son.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Parson Mortuary.
Services will be Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the mortuary with Pastor Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
