Justin Amonett

Muncie- Justin Amonett, 70, passed away Thursday March 30, 2017 at Liberty Village Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born on September 4, 1946 the son of Carl and Allie Amonett of Albany, Kentucky.

Justin was born in Albany, Kentucky but lived in Indiana most of his adult life. He was employed several years by Warner Machine in Muncie and for six years by Essex in Orleans, Indiana. He worked for Duffy Tool and Die for a decade before his illness caused him to retire. After he retired from machine work sold pet food at the Main St. flee market.

Left to mourn the loss of Justin are his loving wife of 43 years Shirley (McDowell) Amonett, daughter Julie Howell, son Jason Amonett, sister Justine(Don) Parsley, grandchildren Richard Howell, John Howell, Jacob Salyer, Dakotah Amonett, and Zachary Amonett, and six great grandchildren.
 

Justin was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roger Amonett.

Funeral Services will be Thursday April 6, 2017 at 1:00 P.M at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Gary Phillips officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M until start of the service on Thursday. Burial to following at Gardens of Memory.
