Karen “Susie Q” Faber, 75, passed away Saturday evening, November 23, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on November 21, 1944 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Ralph Snyder and Ruth E. (Roush) Snyder-Steele. Karen graduated from High School worked on obtaining her Associate of Science degree and later drove a truck for Roadrunner Transportation. She attended Rejoice Ministries Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting and doing crafts.
Survivors include one son, Blayne Faber (Christy), Hartford City; two daughters, Wendy Faber and Tyrsa Hurd (Allen), both of Ohio; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Elton Steele; two sisters, Bindy Lane and Becky Steele; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jimmy Steele.
Cremation is taking place with a private family gathering at a later date. Parson Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
