Kathleen Williams

Kathleen Elizabeth (Wood) Williams,75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Yorktown on Monday, August 20, 2018. She was born to Roy Wood and Roxanna (Kistner) Russell on April 9, 1943, in Owenton, Kentucky.

Kathleen was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 56 years, where she truly enjoyed fundraisers, bazaars and many other service projects. She was also a member of The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and The Ladies Compact League Champions at Anderson Lanes. She was an Avon representative for 47 years. She loved her family and family pets and was always there for whatever they needed. Kathleen was an amazing cook and was the best at making homemade grape jelly and fudge. She enjoyed canning, gardening, and reading.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ted Williams, three daughters: Debbie Williams (Mike) of Yorktown, Karon Bohlman (Bret) of Indianapolis and Kim Williams of Yorktown, four brothers: Roy K. Wood (Doloris) of Georgetown, Ky, Brad Watts (Mary) of Lexington Ky, David Clanin (Lezlee) of Pennsylvania, Bobby Wood (Bonnie) of Louisville Ky,4 sisters: Brenda Chapman (Linda) of Jacksonville Fl, Judy Binkley (Ronnie) of Leavenworth IN and Sandy Logsdon (Mike) of Jeffersonville IN, Lynda Seaman of Muncie, 4 granddaughters: Samantha Corya (Jake) of Yorktown, McKenzie Corya (Austen) of Yorktown, and Taylor and Brittney Bohlman of Indianapolis, and 1 great grandson, Bodhi Hendrickson, and several nieces and nephews.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Wood.
