Kelly L. Glidden

Muncie-Kelly L. Glidden, 58 passed away early Saturday morning, November 24, 2018, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  She was born on July 27, 1960 in Muncie the daughter of Rev. Denny and Wanda (Locke) Helton.

Kelly is a 1978 graduate of Muncie Central High School.  Later she would go on to work for the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital for 37 years serving in the Admissions Department under the bed control area.  Kelly had served her Lord and Savior since she was a child.  She grew up in the Full Gospel Temple Church and became the Minister of music as well as head of the youth.  She blessed many with her musical talents

Survivors include her son, Austin Glidden, Lafayette; one granddaughter, Evelynn Rose “Evey” Glidden, Muncie; her parents Rev. Denny and Wanda Helton, Muncie; two brothers, Denny Lee Helton, Muncie and Rev. John Paul Helton, Muncie; several aunts, uncles and many cousins; her very special best friend, Chris Wright, Albany.

She is preceded in death by Paternal grandparents, George and Mary Helton; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Locke.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the Full Gospel Temple 212 W. 7th St. Muncie, IN 47302 with Revs.  Denny and John Helton officiating.  Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Full Gospel Temple on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Catalyst Youth Church C/o of the Full Gospel Temple Church.
