Muncie: Larry J. Bilbrey, 69, went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 1, 2018 with family at his side. Larry was born May 9, 1949 to Myrtle May and Everett Clinton Bilbrey in Grimsley Tennessee. While living in Muncie he attended school at Southside High School. He later married Beverly Stephens in 1972 and they have three wonderful daughters.
Larry loved the Lord; he was a man of God who loved his family dearly spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren as he could. He was a member of First Community Baptist Church in Redkey for almost twenty years and did enjoy playing golf when he could.
Surviving him are his wife of 46 years Beverly, Daughters: Jama “Joie” Murray (Tom) Arizona, Bridget Brooks (Bobby) Muncie, J.J. Coy (Craig) Muncie, two sisters Patsy Todd (Joe) Muncie, Elise Vance (Chuck) Eaton, and a brother Pastor Everett Bilbrey (Connie) , Eaton. He had been blessed with nine grandchildren: Kaitlin, Cyle, B.J., Cody, Kelsie, C.J., Chelsea, Sage, and Natasha, 6 great grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. His best friend Joe Ferguson will miss him with many others.
His parents and several siblings preceded Larry in death.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 West Adams Street, on Friday September 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Everett Bilbrey officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday September 6, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and 1 hour before services on Friday.
