Larry Earl Logan, Sr.

July 5, 1942 ~ September 18, 2017 (age 75) 75 Years Old

                Muncie-Larry Earl Logan, Sr., 75, passed away Monday evening, September 18, 2017, at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on, July 5, 1942, in Muncie, the son of Arthur and Mary (Stanley) Logan.

                Larry is a 1960 graduate of Selma High School and later married the love of his life Barbara (Guinn) in 1964 she passed away in May of this year.  Mr.  Logan proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as an electrician Technician working on radio equipment.  Later he would go onto work at Muncie Aviation having part ownership of the Avionics Radio Shop.  He enjoyed fishing, was the past Commander of the Selma American Legion Post 437, and was a member of the Amvets Royerton Post 12.  Mr. Logan found a lot of pleasure in the home they built at Indian Trail Lake where many memories were made.  The Logans had retired to Leesburg, Florida for approximately 10 years prior to coming back to the area.  Larry mostly, treasured the times he and the family could spend together.

                Survivors include, one daughter, Leah Stevens (husband-Warren), Parker City; one son, Larry Edward Logan, Jr., Eaton; four grandsons, Brock Logan, Eaton, Kyle Logan(wife-Britney), Parker City, Logan Stevens (companion-Paige), East Lansing, Michigan and Matthew Stevens, Muncie; one great granddaughter, Jayden Logan; two special sisters, Carol Dudley and Wanda Ray, both of Muncie; two brothers, Gary Logan, New Castle and Ray Logan (wife-Linda), Marion; a special cousin who was like a brother, Randell Logan (wife-Marsha), Byrdstown, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

                Besides his wife of 53 years, Barbara, he is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Clara Mae Logan; three Brothers, Bobby, Mike and Rick Logan; one sister-in-law Judy Logan.

                Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating.  Burial will follow at the Tomlinson Cemetery.  Military honors will be rendered by the Delaware County Honor Guard.

                Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again on Friday, September, 22, 2017, from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
