Gaston- Rosita “Marlene” Morris, 74, Gaston, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening October 1, 2018.

She was born August 24, 1944 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of the late Thelma (Henry) and Marvin Stephens.  Marlene was a 1962 graduate of Muncie Central High School and was a member of River of Life Church.  She spent her life as a gifted homemaker and mother who enjoyed her family.  Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joys of her life.  Marlene also enjoyed fishing and camping with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Morris; a son, Dwayne Pryor (wife-Vicki); a daughter, Delynn Hatheway (husband-Andrew), 3 step children Larry Morris (wife-Naomi); Richard Morris (wife-Dana); and Rhonda Escobedo (husband-Marco); sister, Susan Stafford (husband-Michael); her brother, Ray Stephens (wife-Marty); grandchildren, Kristin McKee (husband-Matt); Kortnie Huffman (husband-Matt); and Joshua Hatheway; two great-grandchildren, Merrick Hatheway and Silas McKee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Philip Stephens; and her grandson, Tyler Hatheway.

Services will be held at River of Life Church, 5350 W. Bethel Ave., Muncie, IN 47304 at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 with Pastor John Martin officiating.

Calling will be at River of Life Church from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 and one hour prior to services on Friday.
